Stolberg is an ideal point of departure for excursions to the mountains of Harz. Here you can discover a unique nature with rocks, highmoors and rarely plants. You can be close to very old historical sites and buildings and you can hear tales from kings and emperors. Try the Harzquerbahn, a nice historical railway or visit one of the historical mines.
